Welcome to the Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations (ALTAFF) survey for Friends groups. We often receive requests for information about trends in activities, fundraising, organization and structure, advocacy efforts, and other issues and concerns for Friends groups.

We are conducting this survey to compile information about all types of Friends groups across the country to share the results back with groups like yours. In addition, we ask for feedback about the services and resources ALTAFF provides to our members and affiliates. Your feedback will help us develop future materials and resources to help your Friends group succeed.

The survey should be completed only one time per Friends group by the person with the most knowledge of your Friends group. This may be a member of the Friends board, a paid staff member (library or Friends group), or the library director.
